I've spent too much of my time recently getting this thing up and going. Back to doing more shooting, stat!
It was pretty comical looking back at the amount of logo iterations that I made before I finally got serious and made a good one. At first I had a ton of fun playing with ideas and not necessarily focused on the simplicity of the idea. I had a friend go over some earlier iterations. Hofer thanks for your input btw!

They evaluate upgraded corporate logos and there's some really great input here. They show the before and after and talk about why they absolutely love, hate, or are indifferent regarding the designs. I took a good amount of inspiration from here. I'm no graphic designer by any means, but it gave me some ideas about the fundamentals to go by. I think it helped.
